Glitter EP
“Glitter” breaks new territory in the realms of cinematic Drumstep with staunch stepping drums holding a growling monsterous bass in place. With the Lily’s directorial debut video set to accompany the title track collaboration with Pure Heart alumni MC Astro and J. Augustus drawing inspiration from film noir and chiaroscuro, Glitter takes the first steps into building the visual world of PHDM.
“Grace” dives into more introspective junglist storytelling with deep swelling basslines punctuated by tight, rolling drumwork set against a backdrop of surrealist synth and pads.
“Immure” represents a departure from the norm for Unsub & n0isemakeR and into a more hip-hop influence drumstep experiment that is equal parts dream-state and unrelenting driving bassweight. Switching up to a pensive second half takes the EP into a more inquisitive vibe that rounds out an introspective and more mature direction for the duo.
